This weekend, my friend and I decided if we did not go to the cabin, we would not make it this winter. So we grabbed the kids after school and headed up in beautiful March weather. We took Slater and his two girls, rode the trails, let the kids drive (with appropriate supervision), lit off fireworks, chased the Queen's yard Gnome and had a great trip. It was so warm I did not need gloves for the ride home.
